Honouring Remembrance Day 2025 at the Australian War Memorial

Each year on November 11, Australians pause to remember the men and women who have served, suffered, and sacrificed in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. In 2025, the Australian War Memorial in Canberra will once again host the nation’s official Remembrance Day service, bringing the community together in reflection and gratitude.

The ceremony at 11 a.m. will include the traditional minute’s silence, the laying of wreaths, and a program of remembrance attended by veterans, serving personnel, officials, and members of the public. It’s a moment that unites Canberra — and the nation — in quiet respect.

Supporting Commemoration and Community

At SpyInCanberra, we’re honoured to play a small part in helping the Canberra community come together for occasions like this. Our team assisted with poster and print materials used to promote Remembrance Day services across the city, ensuring that people knew how and where to participate.

From local cafés and community boards to public notice spaces and cultural venues, we helped share the message of remembrance — respectfully and with care. Our printing and distribution work for civic and community events is always about connection: helping important stories and occasions reach the people who matter most.

A Time to Reflect

Remembrance Day is not just a date on the calendar — it’s an opportunity to pause and acknowledge the legacy of service that continues to shape Australia. As Canberra gathers at the War Memorial and across the ACT, we’re reminded of the importance of community, history, and honouring those who gave everything.

Lest we forget.

SpyInCanberra is proud to support community and cultural events throughout the ACT.
